2. User Eligibility

4.1 Listing Requirements

Room owners agree that all listings will:

• Contain accurate, truthful, and complete information
• Include authentic photographs of the room
• Clearly describe all amenities and features
• Not contain false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not violate intellectual property rights

4.2 Prohibited Listings

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Discriminatory content based on caste, religion, gender, sexuality
• Offensive, abusive, or hateful language
• Fraudulent or scam listings
• Illegal activities
• Multiple listings of the same room
• Solicitation of payments outside the platform

4.3 Listing Removal

We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms or our policies without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post discriminatory or hateful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the operation of our Service
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Post spam or unsolicited advertising
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Collect or track personal information of others
• Impersonate or misrepresent your identity

6. Transactions and Payments

RoomsWalah is a platform that connects room seekers and owners. We do not:

• Facilitate payment transactions between users
• Take commission or fees from room rentals
• Act as a party to rental agreements
• Guarantee any transaction outcomes

All transactions are directly between room owners and tenants. RoomsWalah is not responsible for any disputes, payments, or agreements made between users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Service (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by RoomsWalah or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written permission.

8. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you post. By posting, you grant RoomsWalah a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for operational purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoomsWalah disclaims all warranties, including:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Accuracy or completeness of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOMSWALAH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months, or INR 5,000, whichever is less.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoomsWalah from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

13. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these terms or our policies
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Harass or abuse other users
• Post prohibited content
• Violate intellectual property rights
